Adjusting to “life after Ruth,” the 1936 New York Yankees secured their first of a then-record four straight World Series titles, besting the cross-town rival Giants in six games. Encapsulated and Graded Good 2 by PSA, this Yankee Stadium ticket stub was issued in the Bronx for Game 3 of that all-Gotham tilt. One of three specimens at its tier with only five graded higher, this “Reserved Seat Mezzanine” voucher has printed seating/event details and the facsimile signature of Yankees owner Jacob Ruppert. On the strength of Lou Gehrig’s eighth of 10 lifetime World Series home runs, the Yankees prevailed, 2-1 that day.
