Description

Donned by Riverfront Stadium tenants during the 1980s and 1990s, these (10) Cincinnati Reds garments are headlined by home pinstriped pants respectively worn by a former MVP and “Prime Time.” All original and unaltered, the items feature twill identifiers and proper tagging. Highlights include: Kevin Mitchell 1994 Game-Worn Pants: white knit leg wear with a two-button zippered fly and seven belt loops; Deion Sanders 1995 Game-Worn Pants: white knit leg wear with a two-button zippered fly and seven belt loops. More on our website.

Kevin Mitchell 1994 Game-Worn Home Pants: there are two micromesh-lined back pockets, while the elasticized waistband’s interior is home to a “Russell Athletic” size “40” label and a tag with printed identifiers reading: “7 MITCHELL 40-42-34-94.” Light wear.

Deion Sanders 1995 Game-Worn Home Pants: there are two micromesh-lined back pockets, while the elasticized waistband’s interior is home to a “Russell Athletic” size “35” label and a tag with printed identifiers reading: “21 – D. SANDERS 35-37-33-95.” Light wear. Within the waistband, a black marker notation of “Owens” suggests subsequent use by teammate Eric Owens.

Joe Oliver 1992 Game-Worn Road Pants gray knit leg wear with red-and-white striped stretch knit panels lining the outer legs and a red-and-white striped elasticized waistband. There is a three-button zippered fly and two micromesh-lined back pockets. Within the waistband, a “Russell Athletic” size “36” label is accompanied by a fabric content flap tag and a swatch with identifiers reading: “OLIVER 9-36-33-92.” Black marker notations of “51” and a crossed-out number suggest subsequent wear by teammates. Light wear.

Barry Larkin 1990s Batting Practice Jersey a red mesh pullover garment with a team logo patch sewn to the left breast and “11” sewn to the back in white twill. Red-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the V-neck and sleeve endings, while “Majestic” labels reside within the collar and on the left front tail. Remnants of a size “M” tag are sewn to the collar label and a handwritten notation just above suggests subsequent wear by another player. Moderate wear.

(2) 1990s Warm-Up Jerseys both red mesh button down garments with team logos sewn to the left breasts. “Majestic” tagging appears on both (one size “44”; one size “46”). Both show light wear.

1980s Game-Worn Jacket a red satin-like button-down garment with white panels lining the shoulders and a “C-REDS” logo sewn to the left front pocket in white twill. Red-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. The collar’s interior is home to a “Wilson” size “44” label and a cloth hanger. The item has a quilted lining and shows heavy wear.

1980s Game-Worn Jacket a red satin-like garment with “CINCINNATI” arched across the chest in white twill and a team logo sewn to the left sleeve in white twill. Red-and-white striped stretch ribbed cotton lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. There are two front pockets and a quilted lining. The collar’s interior features a “Wilson” size “42” label and a leather hanger. Heavy wear.

1980s Game-Worn Jacket a red satin-like button-down windbreaker garment with a team logo sewn to the left breast, a 3-1/2”-wide collar and a drawstring lining the waistband. Within the collar, a “Wilson” size “48” label has handwritten notations of “G.A. 38.” Light wear.

1990s Game-Worn Jacket a red satin-like button-down garment with “CINCINNATI” arched across the chest in white twill and a team logo embroidered to the left sleeve. Red-and-white striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, waistline and sleeve endings. There are two front pockets and a quilted lining. The collar’s interior is home to a “Starter” size ”XL” label with an illegible handwritten notation. Light wear.

Duffle Bag a red canvas accessory with “C-REDS” logos sewn to the edges and “Eddie Lee” embroidered along the zippered flap. There are buttoned, plastic-lined windows (to facilitate identification inserts) on either side, two handle straps and a detachable shoulder strap. The item was likely issued in 1998 to pitcher Eddie Lee Priest.
