Established in 1951 as the “Little Bigger League,” a New Jersey-based teen baseball circuit was re-named the “Babe Ruth League” in 1954. That same year, 20-year-old Hank Aaron debuted and began a fence-clearing career in which he eclipsed the legendary Yankee’s career home run total. Appropriately, this vintage Babe Ruth League baseball has been signed by Aaron. The creamy orb (grade “8”) is home to Aaron’s ballpoint scripting, which projects (“8-9”) strength and clarity on the sweet spot. An ultra-thin protective agent covers the signature but does not impinge upon its quality in any way. Full photo LOA from JSA.
