From 1912-1914 the George Frost Company issued the Boston Garter series, amongst the most coveted baseball cards in the hobby. To compliment this important set is the offered turn-of-the-century Boston Garter wood display case. The creation measures approximately 11 x 12-1/2" and varies from 6-1/4 to 7" in depth. The antique was designed to conveniently hold garters intended for retail sale. Scattered scratching and negligible surface imperfections do not impact the overall construction of the artifact. The front and side panels are blazoned with gilt Boston Garter trademarks. The three slots designed for garter storage are tightly attached to the body of the piece.
