Description
Though finishing sixteen games behind the unstoppable Philadelphia Athletics machine, the 1931 Washington Senators still posted a respectable 92-62 ledger. The beloved Griffith Stadium squad is gloriously portrayed with this array of (29/30) different photographs. These poignant 6 x 9-1/2" renderings average (EX to EX-MT) with mostly clean obverses and creamy, blank reverses. Showcased are Altrock (EX-MT), Cronin (EX), W. Johnson (EX-MT), Manush (EX-MT), S. Rice (EX-MT) and Schacht (FR, pin hole). Missing only Griffith for completion.
