Description

With the winning tradition back in Birdland, these (6) 1970s and 1980s game-worn Baltimore Orioles garments are a link to the glorious past of a proud franchise. Highlights include: Lee May 1977 Game-Worn Road Jersey gray knit button-down garment with twill identifiers and “Wilson” size “46” tag; Mike Flanagan 1984 Game-Worn Home Jersey white knit button-down garment with twill identifiers, a 30th anniversary patch and “Rawlings” size "44" tag. The all-original items show light to moderate wear. More on our website.

Elliott Maddox 1977 Game-Worn Home Pants cream-colored knit leg wear with orange-white-and-black striped trim lining the outer legs and an orange-white-and-black striped elasticized waistband. There is a three-button zippered fly and two cotton-lined back pockets. Sewn to the right back pocket’s lining, a “Rawlings” size “34” label is accompanied by a strip tag with chain-stitched identifiers of “34 24 27 1 77.’ Just below, a black marker notation of “21” suggests the pants were worn by Maddox. Moderate wear is evident with expected loss of elasticity at the leg openings.

Lee May 1977 Game-Worn Road Jersey worn by the defending American League RBI champion in 1977, this gray knit button-down garment features “Orioles” angled across the chest in orange-on-black twill, “14” sewn to the back and left front and “L. MAY” arched on a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion. In subsequent seasons, May was able to wear “MAY” only on his jerseys, but had to add a first initial in 1977 to avoid confusion with pitcher and teammate Rudy May. Black-and-orange striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, whose cotton-lined interior is home to a “Wilson” size “46” label. The sleeve endings are lined with black-white-and-orange striped stretch ribbed knit, while the tapered left front tail features a tag with chain-stitched identifiers of “77 1.” Moderate wear is evident.

Mike Flanagan 1984 Game-Worn Home Jersey a white knit button-down garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in orange-on-black twill, “46” sewn to the back and left front and “FLANAGAN” arched on a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion. Black-and-orange striped stretch ribbed knit lines the collar, while the sleeve endings are lined with black-white-and-orange striped stretch ribbed knit. On the left sleeve, a 30th anniversary logo patch celebrates the club’s 1983 World Series win, as well. The left front tail’s interior is home to a “Rawlings” size “44” label and a “SET 1 1984” flap tag. Light to moderate wear is evident, with minimal puckering about the twill components.

Jose Bautista 1988 Signed Game-Worn Home Jersey a white knit button-down garment with “Orioles” angled across the chest in orange-on-black twill, “48” sewn to the back and left front and “BAUTISTA” arched on a nameplate atop the back number in like fashion.
